Happiness is a great feeling, but joy, that's indescribable; it's deep-rooted! You can find joy in so many things, and when you feel it, that feeling puts you above cloud nine! What are you joyful about today? On today, most will probably say the fact that it is Friday! But, let's take a look at the most common things people say:
Marriage/ Relationship
Career
Business
Family
These are all great, including it being Friday, but nothing in the world can be more joyful than the love of God and the love He has for you. When someone loves you back, are you kidding me, unconditionally at that? Now that is what joy is! God has and never will fail us according to His will. For that reason alone, you should be JOY- FILLED every day. All of the above mentioned is just a bonus. Look at it like this, if you don't have a love for God and He is not in your life( so you think), how could you be joyful about any of these other things? God is always in the midst of it all. He gave you each one of those things, even Friday! You could have died on Thursday. Aren't you joyful about seeing another day? I know I am.
Every day start speaking the words joyful over your life and these things mentioned above and begin to see and feel the shift. Become joyful about the presence of God in your life. None of us could make it without Him.
Father God, I thank You for Your presence in all areas of my life. I thank You for filling me with unspeakable joy! I thank You for being my everything. You are great, mighty, and all-powerful. Please continue to keep watch over me, all the days of my life, in Jesus' name Amen.
