A Kiss from Rose| February 15th

How many times have you had conversations with others saying, I am hoping, wishing, and praying that things will work out? Have you said these things:

I hope I get the job?

I hope I have a good report?

I hope my marriage can stand the test of time?

I hope they don't start arguing today?

I hope they have my money?

The definition of hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.

"he looked through her belongings in the hope of coming across some information." But in the Bible hope is the confident expectation of what God has promised, and its strength is in His faithfulness.

I am overly confident in my expectations of what God had for me. I know they will come to pass. What are your hope conversations? My mother and aunt have a skill in speaking life over things, and I want to share some of those words with you to share the hope language—the confident language of expectations.

God will bring me through this.

God will keep me.

God can do anything but fail.

God knows I will become employed.

God knows I will be successful in this fast.

God knows His stripes will heal me.

By God's grace, this will be a peaceful day.

God is my provider.

God said, my money is waiting on me.

God's word will never come back void.

God will cover my children and family.

God said I would have a good report.

Speak to the mountain, tell it to move, knowing God will move that "thing" out of the way (hope). Didn't God tell you that you could speak to it? Well, start talking! Didn't God give you authority and power? Well, use it! You can expect the impossible and know that God will act on it. Activate your faith along with the hope that you have.

What are five things you hope for today? Jot them down in your journal. Write them in your hope language. Then write down five things you hope for someone else. I never want anyone to leave someone behind. Be the reason someone else gets a blessing. Write a hope language for them. My contact information is on the website if you want to tell me your testimony or leave a comment about the outcome. I will pray with you for it to come to pass.

Father God, thank You for another day above ground, healthy and in our right mind. Lead us throughout this day while keeping us covered and protected. I pray that You honor the favored hope languages of each person who takes the time to do so. I pray that no one leaves anyone behind. Father, everyone that chooses not to leave anyone behind, give them a double portion of favor according to Your will. In Jesus' name, Amen.

1 Peter 1:13

13 Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.

Ephesians 1:18

18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,

Hebrews 10:23

23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Isaiah 40:31

31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

"It may seem to others like I am going to finish last because I am always praying for others first. I know that God said the last shall one day be first, so I continue praying for them, knowing that God has me covered also." -Alston Shropshire
