Can you walk away easily?
Can you truly walk away from a covenant you made before God—one you prayed for, waited for, and once called a blessing?
Marriage is not just a union of two people; it’s a divine assignment. It’s sacrifice, forgiveness, and daily surrender. It’s a promise sealed not just with words, but with purpose. When God brought you together, it wasn’t by accident—it was by design.
Before you walk away, remember the prayers you once prayed for love, companionship, and a godly partner. Remember the vows you made—not in comfort, but in faith. When you said, “for better or worse,” did you only mean the better?
Can you extend the same grace you so desperately need when you fall short?
Would you want someone to walk away from you when you were broken, confused, or in need of growth?
Leaving may bring temporary peace, but at what eternal cost?
Are you walking away because it’s truly beyond repair—or because it’s easier than staying and fighting for what God joined together?
When you walk away, you don’t just walk from a person—you walk away from growth, from healing, from the very love you once saw as a gift. You walk away from the testimony that your story could become.
So ask yourself:
Is your frustration greater than your faith?
Is your pride louder than God’s voice?
Is this just a season—or are you turning your back on a lifetime promise?
Love was never meant to be convenient—it was meant to reflect the cross: painful, selfless, redemptive, and worth it.
Beautifully said.. thank you for the reminder❤️
