Let's begin today's message with declaring and decreeing. A decree is an official order issued by a legal authority.
To declare is explained as something known formally or officially. The declaration, in layman's terms, is an acknowledgment of something that is.
When people decree and declare in prayer, they often do so with the understanding that what they decree will come to fruition because they have the power in their words to cause it to happen.
"Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways" (Job 22:28, KJV).
"Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (Mark 11:23-24).
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6).
Father, I thank and praise Your Holy name! I declare and decree that I am the favorite child of the Most High God. Because I am God's favored and favorite child, I am healed, sound, and whole. His Son, Jesus, Christ's blood, covers and delivers me. Your blood is nestled in every fiber of my being. I declare and decree that You fight all my battles and are my Ultimate Benefactor, providing all of my needs.
I declare and decree that You are my Shield and my Banner. Father, I declare and decree that You are my Shepherd and Lord of Peace. Father, I declare and decree that You are with me everywhere I go. Father, You make my path clear and my burdens light. You open for me, favored doors and windows no man can shut. Father, I declare and decree that the dreams in my heart will come to pass according to Your will, in Jesus' name, amen.
