A Kiss from Rose | Blackballed but Not Broken

Sometimes standing on truth will cost you. It may cost you friends, opportunities, positions, or even the comfort of belonging. Speaking the truth often feels like exile — like you’ve been shut out, ignored, or blackballed.

But here’s the good news: you are never exiled from God’s presence.

📖 Jesus Himself said:

“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven…”

— Matthew 5:11-12

Being blackballed by people doesn’t mean being blacklisted by Heaven. God honors courage. He honors truth. He honors those who will not compromise integrity just to fit in.

Think about it:

  • Joseph was exiled by his own brothers, but God elevated him in Egypt.

  • Daniel was cast into the lions’ den for standing in truth, yet God shut the mouths of lions.

  • Jesus was rejected by men, but He became the Chief Cornerstone.

So if speaking truth has cost you a seat at certain tables, trust that God is preparing a better table, one that cannot be pulled away.

💡 Remember:

  • Rejection by man can be redirection by God.

  • Exile doesn’t equal defeat — it can be the very space God uses to elevate you.

  • When your voice for truth costs you favor with people, it often gains you favor with Heaven.

Stand bold. Stand rooted. Stand knowing God is with you.

Heavenly Father,

I thank You that You are a God of truth and light. Lord, when I feel rejected, exiled, or blackballed for standing on what is right, remind me that You will never leave me nor forsake me.

Strengthen me to walk boldly in the truth of Your Word without fear of man’s opinion. Heal every wound caused by rejection, and let me rest in the assurance that Your approval matters more than any human acceptance.

Lord, close the doors that are not meant for me, and open the ones that no man can shut. Let my faith be unshaken, my spirit remain steadfast, and my voice always carry Your wisdom and compassion.

Father, I ask that You turn what was meant to harm me into a platform for Your glory. Elevate me where I belong, surround me with divine favor, and remind me that no exile is permanent when You are my dwelling place.

In Jesus’ mighty name I pray,

Amen.
