A Kiss from Rose | Always In The Know

Before we get into this week’s messages, know it will be a bumpy ride; nevertheless, by Friday, we will sigh a sigh of relief. In every message, we will learn things we may have discussed, but in a different light. Let's start today with a term I use, “Always in the know,” and add Biblical accounts with Jesus. We will use everyday life, thoughts, and experiences some may be familiar with and learn a great lesson.

Some people wonder how you always know.

How you can smile and nod like you didn’t hear what they said.

How you can keep it moving without calling it out.

But what they do not realize is this — God keeps you in the know.

Whether it is to protect your heart, to sharpen your discernment, or to put you up on game, God makes sure you are never caught off guard.

And you do not always respond, because being in the know does not always require an announcement. Sometimes it just requires wisdom.

Jesus was the blueprint for this. He always knew.

Here are three examples:

  1. Peter’s Betrayal

Before it ever happened, Jesus told Peter straight up — “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.”

Jesus still loved him. Still sat at the table with him. But He knew.

He was not shocked when Peter folded under pressure.

He just let the moment play out, because purpose does not stop for betrayal.

  2. Judas’s Deception

Jesus knew Judas was going to betray Him before Judas even knew how deep he would fall.

And yet, Jesus still washed his feet. Still shared bread with him.

Because being in the know does not mean being bitter — it means being anchored.

  3. The Woman at the Well

She tried to hide her truth, but Jesus read her like a book.

    “Go call your husband.”

    “I have no husband.”

“You have had five, and the one you are with now is not your husband.”

Jesus knew her shame, her patterns, her pain — and still offered her living water.

Jesus stayed ten steps ahead, not for pride, but for purpose.

He knew who was for Him, who was fake, and who was fragile.

And He still walked in love, power, and authority.

So when God gives you insight

When He reveals what is being said

When He lets you see through smiles and surface talk

Know that it is not to make you paranoid — it is to make you prepared

Stay quiet if you need to

Love them anyway if you must

But never question the gift

Being in the know is God’s way of keeping your spirit a step ahead of the storm

“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” — Hebrews 4:13
