Have you sat at the bottom of your pain rusting away in your tears for 10, 20, 30, or even 40 years? STOP THAT! You are sitting at the bottom wasting away, allowing your life, and beauty to rust away. The purpose God has for you has all been fading in the distance. Settling at the bottom intertwining with hurt and anger. Turning into dust. But there is someone who can restore you to your days of valor. You can fulfill the purpose He has for you. Your foundation is still in shape. The bones are good. Allow God to fill the holes, smooth out the rough spots. Allow Him to add the necessary things for you to function. Allow Him to remove the damaged parts. Do this while giving God the glory the whole time. Thank Him in advance for taking the time out to pay special attention to you, your rust, your pain, and your tears. Thank Him for loving you in your rust and your days of valor.
Look at it like this, some parents have children that have gone astray. Maybe they are on drugs, living a life on the streets, or whatever the case may be. The parents in their hearts know that one day, their child will come home. They sit and pray. They wait, 10, 20, 40 years sometimes for that child to come around and "get up" out of the bottom of their situation. When that knock on the door finally comes, the joy they have inside. It's like they had just given birth. They take their time with you, nothing else matters, other than you are in their presence. They say " go take a bath and I'm going to fix you something to eat." "I have your room all fix up and ready for you, so you can get a good night's sleep." They might even give you a few dollars to put in your pocket. They tell everyone that you are at home. They are at ease and can sleep better. You are feeling amazing to be at home where someone loves you. You have had a rough ride and now you are restored. A weight has been lifted. God is the same way. He is our ultimate parent, just waiting on us.
KNOCK on the door and STOP rusting away at the bottom of your pain.
