A Kiss from Rose| Let Them Talk/ Jesus Took the Time Out

We all know people are going to talk. People will talk about your brokenness, wholeness, past, present, and future without acknowledging their hiccups in life. If they are not at least acknowledging their hiccups, they can not possibly be repairing them, either. Nevertheless, you can not worry about that. It would be best if you kept walking forward. This one thing I know, Jesus, is still walking with you. Your brokenness, wholeness, past, present, or future does not matter. He will take the time out to walk with you. He will invite you into His circle. Regardless of what people may say, think, or who you are, Jesus won't ever leave or forsake you. A good example is Mary Magdalene. Let's point out some facts about her.

  1. Jesus healed her and cast out some infirmities and evil spirits. (Luke 8:1-3)

  2. She traveled with Jesus and his 12 disciples.

  3. She is mentioned in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

  4. She witnessed the crucifixion.

  5. She was at Jesus' burial

  6. She was the one who found the empty tomb on Easter.

No matter the reason in which Jesus had to heal her, or the controversy surrounding her name, Jesus took the time out to do so. Mary Magdalene, the sinner, the one with seven spirits, walked with Jesus. Yes, Mary Magdalene, the sinner with seven spirits, was relevant enough to be referenced in the Bible's four books.

If Jesus can take the time with Mary Magdalene, He will surely take the time out for you. Where you start in life doesn't mean you will remain there. Jesus will take the time to walk with you throughout your journey.
