Do you know all of the spirits that you are surrounding yourself with? I know we all feel as though we have the best spirits, energy, or vibes; nevertheless, who are you surrounded by, and what spirits, energy, or vibes do they have? I have a great friend, and we often have these conversations about this, and I am sure she thinks I am not paying attention. This conversation about spirits was in the back of my mind, but it creeps up often to the forefront of it. People have so many things that have taken hold of them, and you don't want it to take hold of you. That is why you must wear the whole armor of God to protect you. That is why you must pray, plea the blood over your life, and the lives of those you are surrounded by.
If you have 25 friends, well, let's take that number down to 5 to make it simple. Friends that come into your home are around your family, which are a part of your weekly life, if not daily. What are they bringing into your home? What type of spirit are they bringing around your children. Heck, what type are you bringing around!? Are you or your friends bringing around a lying, messy, discord, or confusion type of spirits? Is it unbalanced or chaotic? What about evil, sneaky, or misleading?
Getting to know someone's name, color, and fashion expertise is all well and good; knowing their spirit will save your life.
Think of good-spirited people you are surrounded by and the bad ones; you create a toxic environment with the mixture; that's why there is always a war going on.
1 John 4:1-3
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.
Mark 1:21-28
And they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath he entered the synagogue and was teaching. Matthew 12:43-44
“When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none. Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order.
