A Kiss from Rose| December 2nd

When you are off to yourself thinking of a million and one things, or a million and one reasons to give up, smile, and keep going. When you are sitting alone and thinking how am I going to pull this business off, how am I going to take care of my family, how will this health issue pan out, how am I going to take care of a baby, or how you often feel like no one see you; keep going. It will all work out. People are watching, more importantly, God is orchestrating all of this. When you truly trust Him, you will trust the process, and you will know victory will be on the other end. So, while you are off thinking about all of those things, be sure to think about all of the goodness and mercies that are heading your way! Start smiling and thanking God for your favor and fruitful harvest! God sees you! You are His child, how could He not? Keep going! No good deed goes unnoticed! Listen, do you remember how God favored Dorcas (Tabitha in Hebrew), in the bible? Not familiar with her, name? Well, just because you didn't notice her, doesn't mean God didn't. She was a beloved woman who was always doing good and helping the poor. When she died, her friends called Peter and showed him the beautiful garments she had made for the widows. Peter was moved by her legacy and prayed at her bedside. Miraculously, Dorcus was brought back to life! Get my point! Keep going!

Acts 9:36-43 New International Version (NIV)

36 In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (in Greek her name is Dorcas); she was always doing good and helping the poor. 37 About that time she became sick and died, and her body was washed and placed in an upstairs room. 38 Lydda was near Joppa; so when the disciples heard that Peter was in Lydda, they sent two men to him and urged him, “Please come at once!”

39 Peter went with them, and when he arrived he was taken upstairs to the room. All the widows stood around him, crying and showing him the robes and other clothing that Dorcas had made while she was still with them.

40 Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, “Tabitha, get up.” She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up. 41 He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet. Then he called for the believers, especially the widows, and presented her to them alive. 42 This became known all over Joppa, and many people believed in the Lord. 43 Peter stayed in Joppa for some time with a tanner named Simon.
