A Kiss from Rose| Anyone/Anything Can Be Used By God

Don't be so quick to judge! You never know who is being used by God. Don't be so quick to turn a deaf ear! You never know who God sent for you to listen to. It is not always the prestigious person. It is not always the person with the big title. It is not always the leader. It can be the person in the crowd following, just like you. It is not always the person speaking in tongues or well versed in scripture.

A grandparent can be taught how to read by a child

A personal assistant may know more about the day to day functions in an office than the supervisors

A special needs child/ adult can teach someone about compassion

An old car can teach you about the functions, parts, and the importance of maintenance on a vehicle (breaking down on the highway is a lesson)

A chatty person will teach you a lot about what's going on around you

A quiet person will show you how much you need to pay attention

A rebellious person can give you lessons of what to do or not do based on experience

A straight-laced person can show you it is ok to do things the right way

A person who can not cook can teach you about dedication and patience as they keep trying to learn

An adulterer in another marriage can show you what problems you do not have in your marriage ( you are not dealing with infidelity)

A person who has continuous storms but keeps on praying can teach you about hope, endurance, and faith

A homeless person can teach you about survival on the streets

A dying person can show you how short and important life is

They all have flaws. They all can encourage you. They all can inspire you. They all can take you places. They all can spread God's word.

Don't believe me? Have you been one of these people or experienced one of these things? Has God ever used you? Have you ever given a word of encouragement? Have you ever prayed for someone? Have you quoted or given someone a scripture? Have you helped someone or lead them on the right path?

Matthew 21:1-11

Jesus Comes to Jerusalem as King

21 As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.”

4 This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:

5 “Say to Daughter Zion, ‘See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’”[a]

6 The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them. 7 They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on. 8 A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,

“Hosanna[b] to the Son of David!”

“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”[c]

“Hosanna[d] in the highest heaven!”

10 When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?”

11 The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”

*I do not own the rights to the scripture*
